Finally! 2022 is here, and there are so many new and exciting trends in bridal footwear.\u00a0 It’s going to be a big year for weddings, with exciting new venues, dresses, and new bridal shoe trends.\u00a0 Outdoor weddings from the forest to the beach will be popular, as will the need for practical, yet stunning shoes.\u00a0 \u00a0Brides-to-be want “Block Heels<\/a>“.\u00a0 Our showroom has a variety of block heel wedding shoes ranging from 2″ to 3 1\/2” heels from Badgley Mischka<\/a> and Bella Belle<\/a>, with a variety of bows, ribbon wraps, and of course, sparkle too.<\/p>\n

Block heels aren’t a new bridal shoe trend, we started seeing their rise in popularity over the last three years.\u00a0 However, this season brings new looks in bows and lace.\u00a0 Bows are all the rage!\u00a0 From oversized tulle bows to lace bows, and one of our favorite trends: ribbon ankle wraps, which you can finish with a bow or a knot.\u00a0 Keep in mind, that supply chain issues continue in the wedding industry, and shoes are no exception.\u00a0 If you see a pair of shoes you love, get them!\u00a0 Hesitation will equal disappointment, we’re sorry to say.<\/p>\n

Oversized Tulle Bows<\/h2>\n

Not limited to block heels, we are seeing oversized bows in clothing as well as wedding shoes. Perhaps, the trend started with Jimmy Choo<\/a> and their mismatched bow sandal, Aveline.\u00a0 As a result, most hot designers now have their own interpretation of the oversized bow in their shoe collections.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Choo, Aveline, white wedding sandals with front and back oversized bows made quite the fashion statement 2 years ago.\u00a0 These shoes are most likely the inspiration behind the oversized bow trends we are seeing in wedding dresses and bridal shoes.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Our hottest bow shoe is Kim<\/a>, designed by Badgley MIschka.\u00a0 What’s not to love?\u00a0 On-trend with an oversized tulle back bow, 3 1\/4″ block heel, heel cup for support and it’s available in three bridal shoe colors: ivory, blush, and mist blue.<\/p>\n

Lace Bows<\/h2>\n

Lace is always prevalent in bridal, so of course, we would expect to see it in a bow.\u00a0 We’re not disappointed.\u00a0 The queens of lace: Erina & Veronica at Bella Belle Shoes, did not disappoint.\u00a0 Back bows, front bows, and yes, even side bows are included in their new line for 2022: Heart & Soul.\u00a0 You’ll find lace bows adorning flats, low heels, block heels, and stilettos.\u00a0 A few favorites are below.<\/p>\n

Meet Leila’s, sister, Laurie<\/a>.\u00a0 Laurie has the same grand details but is on a much more manageable 3″ block heel.\u00a0 Therefore, this style offers more comfort, but just as stylish.<\/p>\n

Ankle Wrap Trends<\/h2>\n

We started seeing the return of silk ribbon ankle wraps in 2021, and our brides loved them.\u00a0 Two of our best sellers, Ivy<\/a> and Penelope<\/a>, designed by Bella Belle, offer both the lace and ankle wrap trends. We anticipate the popularity of these styles to continue throughout 2022.\u00a0 Take a look below and you’ll understand why.<\/p>\n
