Both designers offer a range of styles in various heel heights, platforms, wedges, booties, and even a jelly sandal. Crystal ornaments at the toe and heel continue to be the trend, but you’ll also find beautiful bridal styles in lace, beading, embroidery, mesh, and appliqués. Our Bella Belle Wedding Shoe Collection continues to grow from its introduction last year. In case you’re not familiar with this line, it’s a fabulous collection of flirty, feminine bridal shoes with couture styling details created by two best friends in Massachusetts. You’ll find lovely heels, flats, wedges, and even a bootie! in delicate mesh with hand-beaded details, lace, and appliqués. Joy Proctor also joined their design team in 2017 creating several exclusive styles.

Available in 3 spring colors, this style will complete a glam, vintage, or boho-chic look. Delicate embroidery with beads, crystals (and white has pearls) brings sparkle & glamour while the ankle strap & D’Orsay style bring a vintage vibe.
The Best Shoes For Your Dress
What we love about our new bridal shoe styles is that they are so diverse. With this year’s wedding gown designers offering so much variety in fabrics, trims, and silhouettes, finding shoes that complement a variety of gowns can be a challenge. But as you’ll see, our shoe collection offers wonderful choices for every gown style.
Our favorite shoe from the Bella Belle Collection (as if one can pick a favorite) is Florence. This style complements just about any style gown. The closed-toe brings formality, the sheerness plays it down, the strap details and ankle wrap ties lend a vintage touch and of course, the scatter of crystals glam it up. Shoes for the “Naked Dress”
The “Naked Dress” trend introduced in 2016 continues to be the most coveted gown style in 2017. These bold and daring dresses require fabulous statement bridal shoes, even when softened with layers of tulle. Both Anita & Florence by Bella Belle offer sheer sexiness. Anita complements the lace appliqués, Florence adds sparkle & glam. A sexy strappy sandal is also a fabulous look with these gowns. Shoes for an Ombre Dress
Another trend prevalent in gowns and veils for 2017 is “ombre”. This ultra-feminine gown from Allure’s Madison James Collection has a subtle blush ombre tulle peeking out from a gorgeous lace overlay. Go with a light and airy style in ivory or blush, or raise the glam factor with a touch of bling.
Shoes for Boho Chic Style
Love Jenny Packham gowns. The model is styled to create a Bohemian Glam look so we paired the gown with open toe ankle straps for a Boho-Chic Style. However, this dress certainly can go ultra-glam with a closed-toe bridal shoe and classic formal shoe.
Shoes for the Glam-Bride
Glamorous structured gowns are always a fabulous look. Shown from left to right: J Mendel, Victor Harper, and Austin Scarlett.Many options for the gowns above. The J Mendel gown begs for a strappy sandal. This gown can be worn for a less formal day wedding or can go completely glam for evening affairs. We like the bling flat sandal for day and all-out sparkle for night. The Victor Harper gown is “Old Hollywood” deco glam. Sparkle is required in either open-toe or closed-toe heels. The Austin Scarlett gown although sophisticated has a young fresh feel. Its modern silhouette can go with a simple sophisticated shoe style with or without sparkle. All the styles above work, we love the wedge with it or a bright fun pop of your favorite color.
Shoes for Colored Wedding Dresses
Pastel shades are big this year as well. Blush, pale blue, champagnes, and even lavender. Metallics always work when in doubt, so do ivory shades. Depending on one’s style you can always go dyed to match, however, an exact match isn’t critical. As long as the blush or blue color has the same tone it will look great. A darker tone or a close match is ideal. Avoid going lighter.
Soft pink gowns by Enzoani Bridal. A lace shoe, soft metallic sandal, or a pink hue that compliments the tone, not necessarily a perfect match works perfectly with these gowns. The Bella Belle lace appliqué plays off the lace in one gown and complements the soft airy feel of the other. The beading of the Badgley Mischka Barker style along with the ankle strap brings a vintage feel to both gowns and the pink is just the right shade.Our Annalise pale blue shoes are perfect with this vintage blue gown. Unfortunately, the gown designer is unknown to us.

Boho-Glam remains in vogue. These gowns by Anna Campbell and Lazaro (center) can be accessorized to glam it up or play it down.Depending upon the look you want to create, your personal style, and your wedding location, these bridal shoe styles add the finishing style to the bohemian looks above.A bold gown with trendy lace detailing and appliqués can be worn with a barely-there strappy sandal or a bold shoe that holds its own, such as these bright blue shoes and sparkling sandals.
