Blue Wedding Shoes, Blue Bridal Shoe History
Blue wedding shoes and colored wedding shoes have been a popular trend for the last 5 years. It’s a great idea to wear color or metallic shoes with your wedding gown as you don’t have to be concerned about getting the exact match of white or ivory silk bridal shoes or having the shoes dyed to match your dress. And of course the best part is, that you’ll be able to wear your wedding shoes again.
So where did the trend begin? Color wedding shoes and blue wedding shoes began with Carrie Bradshaw and the infamous Blue Manolo Blahnik’s shoes featured in the first Sex and the City Movie.
Immediately after the movie, shoe designer Martinez Valero created the best imitation of these fabulous shoes and Perfect Details immediately brought in several dozen pairs. We introduced the coveted shoe in the summer of 2009, and featured these dazzlers in our Martha Stewart Ad 2009-2010.
The Zenith was our all time best seller, over 250 pairs sold!! Since then there have been other styles of shoes in the ultimate blue wedding shoe color, as well as shades of pinks, purples, pale blues and greens, but the royal blue shade is still the favorite.
Now we have another blue wedding shoe that is sure to become a favorite and be coveted by brides everywhere.
Introducing : The Kiara Sapphire bridal shoes designed by Badgley Mischka. These heels feature an amazing crystal ornament at the heel and a peep toe on a 4 ¾” heel on a 1” platform.
