Wedding Guest Book Choices

The wedding guest book is more than just an official attendance record. Wedding guestbooks can be a sentimental keepsake of well wishes from those closest to you and the groom. These guest books can be personalized with photographs, a copy of the wedding invitation, or a monogram. The wedding guest books we offer at Perfect Details are designed with only one side of the paper printed with lines for the guests to sign. Therefore, when opened, the left side is always blank which provides a more elegant look and allows you to use this side for wedding day photos and mementos.

Below are a couple of thoughts to assist you in making your guest book special:

  • Most guest books come with lined paper, which makes it a simple process for all guests to sign.
  • Blank paper encourages your guests to write more than their signature, perhaps a little note, and you can also use it as a photo album or scrap books too.
  • Use a nice pen and have several backups.
The wedding guest book is most commonly left out for guests to sign as they enter the reception area. For small weddings and outdoor weddings it may be left out for guests to sign as they enter the area the ceremony will take place or the entrance to any area where all the guests will pass through. At large weddings, it is also nice to have someone assigned to take the book from table to table half way through the reception to allow those who haven't signed the book to do so.
